Cradled against an oceanfront hillside and located in a quiet and sunny suburb of Funchal, within approx. 2km from the city centre, the TUI BLUE Madeira Savoy Gardens is a friendly boutique-style hotel that provides its guests a modern feel and traditional qualities. 

The TUI BLUE Madeira Gardens is an Adults-only concept for guests over 16 years of age.

The hotel has 133 guest rooms, suites, deluxe rooms and Garden Villas. Focused especially on offering you maximum comfort and quality, and further features 2 restaurants and 4 bars, 2 swimming pools (1 outdoor and 1 indoor), a panoramic rooftop 360º view terrace with sun-lounges, jacuzzi, shower and lounge bar. 

A Spa with spacious treatment room, relaxation room, sauna and steam bath, hairdresser, games and TV room, the Night Club Magnólia with nightly live music and entertainment, outdoor games facilities in the garden and exterior car parking are part of the numerous services available to our guests.  Free Wi-Fi

Whist your comfort remains our priority, we offer you an opportunity to help contribute to protecting and conserving our environment.  Therefore, kindly contact the housekeeper to change the bed linen when necessary. 

For fresh linen please place the information card on your bed and leave any used towels to be changed in the bath.

Blankets

Should you need extra blankets, please contact the reception desk.

Breakfast

Buffet breakfast is served daily at the Laurissilva Restaurant on the ground floor. From 7.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.

Cash-Free Environment

In compliance with the TRAVELIFE Environmental Programme standards and regulations, we provide a cash-free environment within our hotel.  Please note we do not accept any payments in cash at our bars, restaurants and spa.  You will be asked to sign your expenses to your room account.  Your hotel bill is always available for pre-viewing on your in-room TV screen.  Payment at the reception desk can be made either at the end of your stay or on a daily basis should that be your preference.  All major credit and debit cards are accepted.

Check-in time

Check-in starts at 2:00 p.m. Should you arrive before check-in time, your room may not be ready for immediate occupancy.  You may leave your luggage at reception desk.

Check-out Time

Check-out time is until noon on the arranged departure day. Whether you require a late check-out or wish to extend your stay, please contact the reception desk. A charge may be applied for late check-out.

Cheques

Only certified cheques or those authorised by the Hotel Management will be accepted. Cheques issued by foreign banks cannot be accepted.

Computer

A computer is available in the “Orquidea” Room (lower ground floor), free of charge.

In order to preserve the good visual image of our hotel, please refrain from hanging towels or clothes outside on your balcony. Please leave items to dry on the existing clothesline in the bathroom

Entertainment

The hotel provides a Low Key entertainment weekly programme at our Bars for nightly Live Music and Shows; The Orquídea Games Room is equipped with Pool table and also provides table games on an ideal reading area and TV room.

We further feature a spacious sub-tropical Leisure garden Jardim do Sol at the rear of the hotel, offering our guests a range of sport options from mini golf to French boules. For full information on our daily and evening entertainment programme, please consult our notice board in the lobby area.

The TUI BLUE Madeira Gardens Hotel is officially recognised as an “Environmentally Friendly Establishment”.  As part of our proactive commitment to reduce our impact on the environment we have implemented a green programme and kindly invite our guests to be involved in the hotel’s Eco-friendly initiatives.  Full information is available in this folder.

Kettle

Kettles are available in every room.

Keys

Hotel room key-cards are valid from check-in until noon on the arranged departure day.  Key-cards should not be kept near mobile phones as they might become demagnetised and should be returned when checking-out.

Laundry/Ironing Service

Laundry bags and order forms are available inside the wardrobe.  Please fill in the laundry list, put it on the bag, leave the bag in your room and inform the reception desk.

The hotel cannot be held responsible for any eventual damage.  In case of damage or loss and the responsibility of the hotel/laundry is proven, liability is limited to five times the price charged for cleaning of said item.

Leisure garden Jardim do Sol

The hotel features a good range of outdoor sport options, such as a putting green, golf driving nets, shuffleboard, skittles and giant chess/draughts.  These facilities have been cleverly landscaped into this sub-tropical Madeiran garden complete with its own Levada and a wide selection of Madeira’s rich and exotic flora.

For the safekeeping of our guests’ valuables, we inform that the hotel now has a general safe located behind reception, which guests may use for items of greater value, at a charge.  Please note that in accordance with the Portuguese Legislation, hotels are not responsible or liable for any loss or damage to items left in your in-room safety deposit box.
