Portugal and wine have a history of thousands of years, starting with the Tartessos about 2000 BC, the Phoenicians, the Greeks and, of course, the Romans. With 250 indigenous grape varieties and unique terroir, it is possible to produce some of the best wines in the world, from the almost immortal Madeira wine to Port wine and the iconic Still wines produced from the Douro to the Alentejo. For this reason, more than 90% of our wines are from Portugal – some of the best examples of what is produced in a country of traditions, which always proudly welcomes those who visit us.

WHITE WINE

VINHO VERDE REGION

The name of this region is related to the color of the landscapes and not to the ripeness of the grapes. It produces wines with elegance and freshness, always with a vibrant acidity.

MADEIRA REGION

Madeira Island is made of wine-growing landscapes that seem to appear out of nowhere, it produces quality still wines, always with some tense acidity and notes os salinity. The Arnsburger variety (a variant of Riesling) found one of the best partners for his wines.

 DOURO REGION

Indulge in full and persistente wines, from the lightest to the Reserve, with plesant acidity and aromas.

 DÃO REGION

Taste elegante, complex, fresh and unctuous wines. Encruzado variety is the best partner to produce some of the best white wines in the contry.

 BAIRRADA REGION

The Bairrada region is known by the influence of the soil that gives it its name (“barro”/clay), it produces light, elegante wines with deep citrus colours and full of fruity aromas.

 BEIRA INTERIOR REGION

Wines influenced by the mountain and altitude. The result are wines of great aromatic exuberance and freshness.

 LISBOA REGION

COLARES

The most western sub-region of Europe, buffeted by sea winds, produces citrus,
fruity and floral wines, always with the famous characteristc salinity.

BUCELAS

Wines from this region were famous in the English court and were brought by General Wellington´s hand. Known as Lisbon Hock wines, these are the best exemples of what is done in Portugal.

 TEJO REGION

Wines from this region are characterized by the delicate aromas of tropical and stone fruits with a floral and slightly acidic aroma.

 PENÍNSULA DE SETÚBAL REGION

Fesh wines, full of floral aromas, are influenced by the Atlantic and Tagus and Sado rivers.

 ALENTEJO REGION

These are smooth, complex and harmonious wines due to the blend of grapes, generally with tropical fruits notes, medium body and good balance.

ALGARVE REGION

MADEIRA REGION

Wines with red berries and floral aromas that always maintain their vibrant acidity, which makes them genuine.

TRÁS-OS-MONTES REGION

Structured wines, usually with enough body and a correct acidity.

DOURO REGION

These wines have a great structure, solid tannins, good acidity, and herbal and wild fruit notes.

 LISBOA REGION

COLARES

These vineyards endured the terrible phylloxera. Therefore, drinking a Colares wine is tasting a bit of History. Ramisco is a variety that needs to rest and refine, being an unforgettable experience to taste.

 TEJO REGION

They have a smooth and plesant body, with great complexity of red fruit aromas.

 PENÍNSULA DE SETÚBAL REGION

High quality wines are produced in this region, with prominente tannins and intense acidity, with aromas of blackcurrant and wild fruits.

 ALENTEJO REGION

Full-bodied, rich in tannins and aromas of ripe wild fruits, they are soft, warm and
balanced wines. We highlight for the wines of Talha (Ânfora), produced in the same
millenary way brought to Portugal by the Romans.

 ALGARVE REGION

Velvety, full-bodied wines with a high level of alcohol that result from good sun exposure, with aromas of red and black fruits and spices.
